WebApr 12, 2024 · Decided to buy Ally CD (have HYSA with them) rather than treasury products or I bonds last night, but was tired and didn't actually set it up. Was 5% at that time. Did it this morning and rate was 4.8% instead of 5.0%. I'm sure there's a lesson in here somewhere, or maybe it's just bad luck. I guess it could have gone up rather than down.
