The speakers are on the darker side and the cabinets can get a lot of bass. Sound: I've never heard the QR sound better than with this cab and the SB25's. The speakers have some characteristics of the greenbacks, but they're much tighter and thus more modern-sounding.

Web6 Mar 2024 · The Splawn has a tighter lowend , the Traditional Mesa is not loose though don't get me wrong because that its more a trait of the recto cabs. So back to the Spawn it also has a bit more overall clarity and open top end, in general the Spawn cab could possibly cut a little better depending on what speakers are in it.
