The 5.3 km trail is near the town of Trinity. We hiked the trail in August, often near the edge of cliffs overlooking the ocean.

I did some research on the trail, but still have a couple of questions. Is it better to hike it clockwise, or counter-clockwise? Also, is there a better time of day to hike it (like from photographic lighting point of view)?
