Web27 Oct 2011 · 1) Remove all power from the board. 2) Remove the CPU from the socket. 3) Clear CMOS. 4) Replace CPU and mount the cooler. 5) Place a single memory module in one of the channels (use a working slot, the manual will tell you which ones to use). 6) Check all power connections, such as EPS 12V and ATX 12V are secure. Web15 Jul 2014 · I understand that from the manual that the motherboard has 6 SATA 6GB ports (Grey) and 4 SATA 3GB ports (black). Is this correct? The reason i ask is because when i plug my 2x SSD's into the grey ports they show up in the bios as SATA 6. When i plugin my storage 3TB drives into the grey ports they show up as SATA 3.
