Webb14 nov. 2024 · I think it has to do with the missing IAT sensor. FYI, car starts first try with the stock ECU. The UK Turbo/WRX/EU Turbo's do not use this sensor and there is no loom in the engine bay to connect it to. The only difference from the STI v5/6 ECU is the Cam and crank shaft sensor on B136 Pin 5 & 6 and the IAT sensor. Webb12 feb. 2024 · The IAT sensor measures the temperature of the air going into the engine. This information is used by the engine control unit (ECU) to adjust the fuel/air mixture. This helps ensure that the engine runs at optimal efficiency and prevents knocking or …
Webb16 apr. 2024 · Move IAT sensor. I have 2005 LS1 Monaro, stock engine (other than OTR and exhaust). I compete in hillclimb events and on the first run I can get the car to perform strongly reporting say 34degs IAT on a 30-36 deg day. After the first run the IAT reports higher temperatures as the engine and surrounds heat up and I have experienced IAT … WebbFunctions of an IAT Sensor An intake air temperature sensor is an essential component of an engine, which ensures that the vehicle starts smoothly, and that the fuel-to-air ratio …

The tip of the ECT sensor protrudes into one of the cooling system passages and is immersed in coolant. Many cars have more than one coolant …
WebbIf the MAT sensor fails, the signal sent to the ECU is poor. The system cannot deliver the extra fuel required to start the engine cold. Decreased fuel efficiency. As mentioned above, all of the problems caused by the …
Webb6 feb. 2008 · Fit your IAT sensor in a place that accurately represents engine intake temp (just before the throttle body is always a good spot). Wire in one of two ways: Run two wires back to the ECU. In the white loom between the ECU and adapter. Connect one wire to 'Signal Ground' and the other to 'An Temp 2'. the vine pastoral counselingWebb8 maj 2024 · OBD II fault code P2199 is a generic code that is defined as “Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 1/2- correlation”, and is set when the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) receives input data from the Intake Air Temperature sensors that exceeds a redefined max/min difference between them, or, a reading from an IAT sensor that is … the vine partnersWebbIAT sensor signal is used as an important input for an engine control unit (ECU) to adjust the fuel metering and AFR controls; ... measurement value which is logged in a data acquisition system.
