WebEvery week the Eastcroft EfW processes approximately 4,000 tonnes of household waste from 250,000 homes in the City of Nottingham and local County boroughs of Broxtowe, Rushcliffe and Gedling – and has done so for almost fifty years since opening in 1972. Around 330,000 MWh of Thermal energy is generated per year at this facility.
