WebSep 23, 2024 · Been a Gsync user since 2024 with a PG348Q (100Hz, true Gsync module). I play all my games in true fullscreen mode with a framerate cap of 98fps. Been doing this for years with not a single problem. I've seen people say also suggesting enabling Vsync but the games feel terrible when I do. No need and I get zero tearing.

It's why Fast Sync and GSync screens are so popular. no im asking is if there is a way to have vsync off without tearing. Yes there is, buy a G-Sync 144hz monitor. Or you could go into the game options and set the fps limit to 60, with Vsync off.

There was a quite long thread about this issue a while back, basically when gsync is on and vsync is off you will still get minor tearing usually at the bottom of the screen when the fps is a percentage below your screens hz due to the way gsync works. It has a latency which effects at what fps it works at.
