WebJul 2, 2011 · Then check the spark plug by hooking it to the wire and then laying it up against the engine block, turn it over and see if it has spark. If these two things are a check do yourself a favor.... buy a new carb from scrappydogscooters, a new petcock, new vacuum/fuel lines, new fuel filter and an NGK sparkplug.

I am seeing about 40 psi from the fuel pump (a little low - i have the service manual) but when the pump stops the pressure immediately drops to 20 psi and slows leaks down to 0.
